Punjab Government No. 11-A, dated 26^th November, 1896.  Old Sikh jagirs  that have been continued or confirmed by the British Government are, as a rule, grants of the revenue of certain lands, the valuation at the time of the grant being mentioned merely to give an idea of the bounty conferred.
