Power of sanction of Deputy Commissioners to succession to assignments

Power of sanction. Deputy Commissioner to sanction succession to assignments.  Rule 6 of the Punjab Pension and Revenue Assignment Rules, 1937.  Deputy Commissioners may sanction the succession of heirs in  accordance with the terms of the grant, to assignments (a) of the land revenue of specified fractional parts of one or more estates, (b) of the land revenue of plots of land forming part of an estate, and (c) in the Ferozepore, Ludhiana, Ambala and Karnal districts to pattidari or horseman’s shares, and in the Jullundur doab to similar shares in conquest jagirs.
