Forfeiture of pensions for crime; Book circular no XLIX of 1860 and VIII of 1872.  If a pensioners be convicted of any serious crime, the case shall be  reported for the orders of the authorities by which the pension was granted . Such authority may declare the pension to have been forfeited.
