Memorandum

            Please refer to this Department Memorandum No. RI(165)/VIII/4197-4216/G-7, dated 26/4/1982 on the subject cited above.

2.         It had already been made clear that clearance from the Government in cases where alternative allotment is to be provided may be obtained before making the allotment. It has come to notice that alternative allotments have been allowed by some of the Tehsildars-cum-Managing Officers without prior approval of the Government. It should, therefore, be ensured that no alternative allotment to unsatisfied claimant, War Widows or in redemption cases is made without getting clearance from the Government. Any lapse on this point will be viewed seriously.
