Instructions regarding relief for crop damaged in early stages by floods during July 1993

Sub:     Instructions regarding relief for crop damaged in early stages by floods during July 1993

Ref:      This department memo No. 7/4/90-ERII/3604, dated 26/7/93

 In partial modification of instructions issued vide this department memo No. 13/22/90-ERII/8047 dated 28/11/90, the norms of relief, where the crop is damaged in early stages, are revised as under :

            (i)         Where crop is totally damaged in early  Rs.250 per acre

                        stage but are can be resown in the same

                        season, farmers may be allowed relief

                        for seeds, fertilizers etc

            (ii)        Where crop is totally damaged in                      Rs. 500 per acre

                        early stage but area cannot be resown

 The above enhanced rates of relief shall be applicable wef 1/7/1993 till further orders. However, the other terms and conditions for grant of relief for damage to crops will remain the same.
