Sub:     Allotment of funds under the head “2245-Relief on account of Natural Calamities” for the year 1998-99 – Emergent flood protection works.

 

 Funds are being released for emergent flood protection works in your district. Financial Commissioner Revenue has desired that these funds are not to be utilised for routine drainage works. These funds are to be used for serious emergencies, where question of life and death is involved.
