The registers detailed in paragraphs 1-3 are intended to show cases under disposal as well as decided cases, and entries should not be postponed until the case has been decided and is being sent to the Record-Room.  As soon as an application or a file is received it should be brought on record in these registers.

1.  Registers to be maintained in Commissioner’s Office.  The following registers, specimen forms of which are appended, are prescribed for use in the Courts and Offices of Commissioners of Divisions: -

(1)  Register of Appeals in Revenue Judicial cases.

(2)  Register of appeals in Revenue Executive cases.

(3)  Register of Miscellaneous Appeals, Petitions and References.

(4)  Register of Rejected and Returned Appeals and applications.

(5)  Register showing dates fixed for hearing appeals.

(6)  Register of payment of stamp duties and penalties on account of insufficiently stamped documents under sections 35 and 38 of Act II of 1899.

(7)  Register of Letters, Parwanas, etc. dispatched.

(8)  Record-keeper’s Register of cases decided and sent to the Record-room.

(9)  Register of Misls taken from Record-room for reference.

(10)  Register of Applications for Copies.
