Sub:     Increase in the amount of Bearer Cheques from Rs. 250 to Rs.1000

 

            In partial modification of instructions issued vide this department No. 13/22/90-ERII/5824 dated 12th September 1990, Government have decided to increase the amount of bearer cheques from Rs 250 to Rs 1000 with immediate effect subject to the condition that the bearer cheque is to be delivered only to the concerned person on receipt of his/her signatures which should be kept in record.

2.         The other terms and conditions will remain the same.
